Claude Counter - Terms of Service

Welcome to Claude Counter. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Claude Counter mobile application ("App") provided by Solo Software ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Claude Counter, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Claude Counter, you confirm that you:

  • Have read and understood these Terms
  • Agree to be bound by these Terms
  • Are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Claude Counter.

2. License to Use

Solo Software grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Claude Counter on devices that you own or control, strictly in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

You may:

  • Use Claude Counter for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Install Claude Counter on devices you own or control
  • Use Claude Counter's features as intended

You may not:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Distribute, sell, lease, rent, or sublicense the App
  • Use the App in any way that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair our services

3. App Purpose and Usage

Claude Counter is designed to help users track their Claude Code sessions and manage timers. The App provides:

  • Session tracking for Claude Code usage
  • Customizable timers for work and productivity
  • Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets
  • Session history and statistics
  • Optional iCloud sync across your Apple devices

Important: Claude Counter is a productivity tool. It does not provide any professional advice, medical recommendations, or guarantees regarding productivity outcomes.

4. Your Data and Privacy

Claude Counter is designed with privacy in mind:

  • Local Storage: All your session data, timers, and settings are stored locally on your device
  • No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information
  • iCloud Sync (Optional): If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account, which we do not have access to

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Claude Counter, including all content, features, functionality, code, design, graphics, and documentation, is owned by Solo Software and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The Claude Counter name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Solo Software. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

6. Third-Party Services

Apple Services

Claude Counter is distributed through the Apple App Store and may use Apple services such as:

  • iCloud: For optional data synchronization across your devices
  • WidgetKit: For Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets
  • Notifications: For timer alerts and reminders

Your use of these Apple services is subject to Apple's Terms and Conditions.

No Other Third Parties

Claude Counter does not integrate with any other third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

7.1 "As Is" Basis

Claude Counter is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

7.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Timers will be 100% accurate in all situations
  • Data will be preserved in all circumstances (please back up important data)
  • The App will meet all your specific requirements

7.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solo Software shall not be liable for any:

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
  • Damage caused by your reliance on the App
  • Damage resulting from unauthorized access to your device

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Device Security: Maintaining the security of your device with passcode/Face ID/Touch ID
  • Data Backup: Backing up your session data if it's important to you (via iCloud or device backup)
  • App Updates: Keeping Claude Counter and iOS updated for optimal performance and security
  • Compliance: Using the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Internet Connection: Maintaining a stable internet connection if using iCloud sync

9. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases (If Applicable)

If Claude Counter offers premium features through subscriptions or in-app purchases:

9.1 Payment

  • All payments are processed through the Apple App Store
  • Prices are displayed in your local currency
  • All sales are final and non-refundable except as required by law

9.2 Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your Apple account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account Settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

9.3 Free Trials

  • If a free trial is offered, it must be used within the specified trial period
  • You may be charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before the trial period expires
  • Free trials are typically offered once per Apple account

9.4 Refunds

Refund requests must be directed to Apple through the App Store, as Apple processes all payments. Solo Software does not control refund decisions.

10. Updates and Modifications

10.1 App Updates

We may release updates to Claude Counter that include:

  • New features and improvements
  • Bug fixes and performance enhancements
  • Security updates
  • Compatibility updates for new iOS versions

You are encouraged to install updates promptly for the best experience and security.

10.2 Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by:

  • Posting the updated Terms in the App and on this website
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date
  • Providing an in-app notification for significant changes

Your continued use of Claude Counter after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Termination

11.1 Your Right to Terminate

You may stop using Claude Counter at any time by:

  • Deleting the App from your device
  • Canceling any active subscriptions through your Apple Account Settings

11.2 Our Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to:

  • Terminate or suspend your access to Claude Counter if you violate these Terms
  • Discontinue Claude Counter at any time with reasonable notice
  • Refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason

12. Geographic Restrictions

Claude Counter is available worldwide through the Apple App Store. However, we make no representation that the App is appropriate or available for use in all locations. If you use Claude Counter from outside your country, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.

13. Children's Use

Claude Counter is suitable for users of all ages. However, if you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction):

  • You must have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App
  • Your parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children because we don't collect personal information from anyone. See our Privacy Policy for details.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Claude Counter is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall prevail.
