Claude Counter is designed with privacy at its core. We believe your personal data should stay personal. That's why:

How Claude Counter Works

Claude Counter stores all your counters, settings, and preferences locally on your device:

  • Local Storage: All your counter data is saved directly on your iPhone or iPad.
  • Widgets: Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets display your counter data. This data never leaves your device.
  • No Third Parties: We don't use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

iCloud Sync

Claude Counter offers optional iCloud sync to keep your counters synchronized across your Apple devices. When you enable iCloud sync:

  • Your counter data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account
  • We have no access to your iCloud data
  • Apple's iCloud Privacy Policy applies to this data
  • You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the app settings

App Permissions

Claude Counter may request the following permissions. These permissions are used solely for app functionality and never for data collection:

  • Notifications: To send you reminders when your counters reach important milestones or dates. All notifications are generated locally on your device.

Third-Party Services

Claude Counter does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. The only external service used is Apple's iCloud (if you choose to enable sync), which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Claude Counter does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Claude Counter is safe for users of all ages because we don't collect any personal information.

Data Security

Since all counter data is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account:

  • Your device's built-in security features protect your data
  • We recommend enabling device passcode/Face ID/Touch ID
  • Regular iOS updates help keep your data secure

Claude Counter works worldwide. Since all data is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account, there are no international data transfers to worry about.
